The ZLJ series belt vulcanizing machine (hereinafter referred to as vulcanizer) is an electrothermal type vulcanizing device used for on-site splicing of conveyor belts. With the advantages of advanced technology, compact structure and convenient usage, it's used for the vulcanized jointing of the belts mixed with canvas, nylon, steel cord, etc., and it's also suitable for the flame retarded, corrosion proof and other special belts. The application area of this kind of vulcanizer is very wide, it can be used in metallurgy, mining, power plant, port and wharf, building material factory, chemical factory and so on.

Conveyor belt vulcanizing press is the widest used conveyor belting equipment, its only need a few steps to confirm press model.

B=belt width.
b1 = length of platen along the belt.
L1= width of platen across the belt on the bias.
L = right angle dimension across the belt, plus edge overlap.

The proper model selection for a sectional vulcanizier depends on determining dimensions b1and L1(see diagram above)
b1- the platen length(b1) is calculated by adding to the belt manufacturer's recommended splice length.
6 inches(150mm) for fabrics belt
14 inches(355mm) for steelcord belt
L1- the platen width(L1) which includes the bias angle, it determined by adding to the belt width
6 inches(150mm) for fabric belt
8 inched(200mm) for steelcord belt
To this figure multiply by:
1.07 for 22 degree bias angle
1.05 for 17 degree bias angle
